Perpdle · beta
Every subject in Perpdle was convicted of a crime in a court of law. We don't feature people who were only arrested or charged, or whose convictions were overturned.
Evidence is drawn from public records: court documents, trial testimony and contemporary news reporting. Quotes are attributed to their source. Testimony and news reports are paraphrased, not reproduced, and every case report lists its sources.
Victims, witnesses and other private people are not named.
If you spot an error, or you are connected to a case and want something corrected or removed, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. We review every request.
Perpdle is a daily puzzle game. This policy explains what information the game uses and why.
No account is needed and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details. Your stats, streaks, case progress and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. That data is not sent to us. You can erase it any time from Settings, or by clearing your browser's site data.
The game loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, as described in Google's privacy policy. [List any hosting, analytics or advertising providers here before launch.]
Perpdle does not set advertising or tracking cookies. [Update this section if analytics or ads are added.]
Case reports link to outside sources such as news sites and archives. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Perpdle covers real crimes, some of them violent, and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
Only daily cases count. Cases replayed from the archive don't change your record. Stats are kept in this browser.
Reopen any past case. Archive plays don't count toward your stats.
